About the Artist

Seren Coşkun | The Unseen Grain

Since 2010, I have been navigating the mystical landscape of film photography; a journey defined by curiosity and the tangible soul of the analog medium. My practice is an ongoing experiment with the unpredictable; I lean into the unique personalities of different cameras, the chemical surprises of expired stocks, and the fluid grace of motion blur.

I define my style as a crossroads where raw emotion meets a grain of mystery. In my world, the photograph is only half-finished when I press the shutter. The final piece is created within the mind of the viewer. I believe the audience plays the most vital role in art: it is your interpretation, your history, and your unique perspective that breathes life into the frame.

"How do you feel?"

It is a question we often forget to ask ourselves. My purpose is to create a space for that question. Through aesthetically pleasing imagery and evocative textures, I aim to provoke wonder, to invite dreams, and to spark the questions that linger long after the light has faded.

Thank you for being a part of my world and for looking deeper into the unseen.
